Sir Hersch Lauterpacht Memorial Lectures
The Hersch Lauterpacht Lecture is an annual lecture series given in Cambridge to commemorate the unique contribution to the development of international law of Sir Hersch Lauterpacht.
These lectures are given annually by a person of eminence in the field of international law and a revised and expanded version of the lectures is usually published in the Hersch Lauterpacht Lecture Series by Cambridge University Press.

The 2007/8 Lecture Series
The 2007/8 lectures on The UN Secretariat and the Use of Force in a Unipolar World were delivered by Mr Ralph Zacklin CMG, Former Assistant Secretary-General for Legal Affairs, United Nations. The Lectures examined the legal issues that have arisen regarding the use of force in the Iraq-Kuwait conflict, Bosnia and the Iraq War from the point of view of the Legal Affairs Secretariat of the United Nations. The 2006 Lecture Series
The 2006 Lectures, The United Nations Security Council and International Law, were delivered by Sir Michael Wood, KCMG who is the former Legal Adviser to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, a Barrister at 20 Essex Street Chambers and a Senior Fellow of the Centre. The 2005/6 Lecture Series
This year's Hersch Lauterpacht Memorial Lecture was given by Judge Jean-Pierre Cot, International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea. The series took place on 14 - 16th February and was entitled "American Legal Thinking and International Law: A French Perspective".

The 2004 Lecture Series
The 2004 Hersch Lauterpacht Memorial Lecture was given by Dr Hans Blix, Chairman, International Commission on Weapons of Mass Destruction; formerly, Executive Chairman, UN Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission, on 22 - 24 November 2004, entitled "The United Nations and Iraq - reflections on the use of force, on international inspections and on UN reform".

The 2003 Lecture Series
The 2003 Hersch Lauterpacht Memorial Lecture was given by Mr Jan Paulsson, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Vice-President of the World Bank Administrative Tribunal, President of the London Court of International Arbitration, on 10 - 12 November 2003 and was entitled "Denial of Justice in International Law".
