Driveway resurfacing work at the Lauterpacht Centre May-June 2016

Works to repair the front driveway at no. 5 Cranmer Road began on Monday 23 May and are expected to take about two weeks. The work will be done in two halves, with the area outside the main (blue) door completed first, and the area outside the door to the Finley library (white door) completed second. The area that is under repair will be fenced off and inaccessible, so entry to the building may be by an alternative entrance.

The Legal Tools for Peace-Making Project, based at the Lauterpacht Centre, hosted a panel of expert academics and practitioners for a workshop to exchange ideas on the outputs of the project.

LCIL welcomes new Visiting Fellows

The Lauterpacht Centre has this week welcomed 6 new Visiting Fellows to Cambridge. The Fellows come from academic institutions in Belgium, Hong Kong, Japan, Switzerland and the UK and are staying for research visits of between 2 and 8 months. Their projects cover a range of subjects in international law, including environmental law, armed conflict, property law and legal philosophy.
