Legal Ingenuity for Accountability: Delivering on the Promise of International Justice in Conflicts

Research Outline:

The project explores innovative legal techniques and avenues that have been used to address accountability gaps for atrocity crimes committed during recent conflicts such as Syria, Myanmar, Ukraine, and Palestine. It investigates how these novel legal techniques and avenues can be combined to overcome limitations in the current international legal order and to strengthen it.
