Centre Co-ordinator

We are seeking a Centre Co-ordinator supports the Director and Deputy Director in the management and administration of the Centre.

The role holder will develop and maintain administrative policies and processes to ensure the smooth running of the Centre including the visitor programme, events and research activities. The role includes management of the Centre's accounts, including the generation of trading income through the visitors programme, monitoring expenditure and spend, compiling budgets for approval, financial reporting to the Directors and Committee of Management. The role oversees the use, management and maintenance of the Centre's buildings including liaising with the Estates Division on all aspects of facilities management, refurbishments and building maintenance.

You will have substantial experience in a similar administrative role in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The post requires a person with a proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and use tact and discretion where required. You will have excellent organisational, written and oral communication skills and the ability to develop collaborative working relationships. The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential.

Experience of line managing or supervising is essential, as the role includes managing the Centre's Administrative Assistant and Communications Manager.
