Rethinking Transitional Justice from African Perspectives:

Join us as we speak to Itonde A Kakoma, Programme Director for Africa for the Crisis Management Initiative (CMI). Previously Assistant Director of the Conflict Resolution Program at the Carter Center in and between Sudan and South Sudan. Kakoma was an international observer for Sudan's National Referendum on the Right ot Self-Determination in 2011, and has also worked on the Carter Center's peace initiatives in Liberia, where he was an advisor and report writer for the Liberian Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

This event is jointly organised with the Cambridge Transitional Justice Research Network and the Centre of African Studies, University of Cambridge.
